Yesterday was a blast! We picked up the rental car around noon....Enterprise you know the saying "We'll pick you up"? Well we learned a new meaning of that slogan. Tom our Enterprise guy tried to pick us up yesterday. We now have his cell number - not that we are going to use it. Then we went to the urgent care so I could get an antibiotic for my UTI - what a great vacation? I experienced my first open air mall - Heather was a veteran. It was so neat riding the escalators up into the sun! After that, we met Jason, Jared, and Chris at the beach. Played a little ball and then rode the waves until dinner time. We ate at Wahoo's and then dropped Chris off at his apartment. Jared and Jason came back with us to take advantage of our outdoor hot tub before they drove home.
Today we are off to La Jolla beach for a Kayak and Snorkel tour through the 7 La Jolla Caves. We will probably just hang out at the beach for the rest of the day. Hopefully I will post pictures soon....we just have to take some! Have fun in the rainy Midwest :-)
