Well...thankfully I did make it home from the UK! After the Prague mix up I wasn't sure where I was headed but I boarded the plane anyway! At the UK airport, I was checked in and my luggage checked for a flight to Prague! Halfway to security I turned and ran back to the ticketing agent...I guess their is another Kayla Payeur flying to Prague from the exact same airport at the same time I was headed back to the states! I had fun flights just like on the way over to the UK and met a lovely guy named Kai. Kai is a German hockey player and he talked my ear off for the entire 8+hour flight! What a funny man! He is in MN for the next three weeks and is really very nice. I got home 16 hours after I left my hotel and immediately changed and tried to make the Holm wedding reception. Missed the bride and groom by 5 minutes (BUMMER!) but handed over my gift. I slept like a baby Saturday night and then attempted to find my property lines on Sunday...I was still a bit tired from the trip and time difference and should not have attempted to dig up my yard! Alas after 2 hours of digging and no luck I will be hiring out the task! The rest of Sunday was pretty lazy and then back to the MN office today. Work was crazy nuts today and then sad news came tonight. A shooting at a local drive-in in my hometown and one young boy who just graduated highschool had his life end too soon.
In a nutshell - United Kingdom - fun - an adventure - lots of exploring - lots of laughing - a bit of home sickness - AWESOME people!
