Don’t spend so much time making a living you forget to make a life

Don’t spend so much time making a living you forget to make a life…I saw that engraved on a rock and thought that was a great message to share!

Monday (yeah...yeah...I know I am a late here) – Jenny and I walked to the Mercer Island park and ride where we hopped a bus and headed into Seattle! The bridge you have to cross to get into Seattle is a floating bridge…you are soooo close to the water and it is pretty freakin cool! We walked to the ocean, to Pike Market, did some shopping (yes I bought souvenirs!), made a coffee stop, found lunch, and just had a nice relaxing adventure thru Seattle! We came back; I got caught up on some work for Lawson while Jenny trained one of her clients. We then headed outside to the pool/hut tub/sauna before dinner. Jenny and I tried out water aerobic exercises while we were in the pool for the aerobics class she is going to start teaching. We then had a lovely dinner and spent the night relaxing.

Favorite quotes from this vacation…so far!

“I’m gonna drive better from now on so you’ll have a really good vacation.”

“Hey we can take the raft out!” said Jenny…then a few minutes later
“Kayla look at this we could go all the way to Canada” said Jenny (as she points to a rather large body of water!)
“On the RAFT?!” said Kayla (insert slighlty frightened and shocked look here)
Clearly she did not mean the raft...but a ferry instead! Alas...Wednesday morning we are driving into Vancouver, CA for some FUN!

The pool at Jenny and Brian's place

The hot tub...the back wall is a waterfall of WARM water....sooo cool!

Jen and I having fun in the sauna with my camera...so blooper shots and then some cute ones...but really what were we thinking?! Pictures with no makeup after swimming, hot tub, and hot sauna in swim suits ;-)

Love this one with a little steam/fog creaping in

I look super tired here...but it was still sooo much fun!

Okay now check out Jenny as she demos these cool things in the sauna...one to prop your head and one to support your knees. I tried them too....soooo comfortable!

Downtown Seattle at Pikes Place Market...relaxin by the ocean as we ate lunch
